ISO 9001 Certification

Certification readiness, computed from what you've actually recorded.

Adds the ISO 9001:2015 reference model on top of your core management system. Every clause is there in plain language, your conformance is assessed and dated, readiness is derived rather than claimed, and the evidence pack comes out as a single document.

How it works

From “we've been told we need this” to audit-ready.

The same four steps whether you're starting cold or tidying up a system that already half exists.

1

Scope it

Define what's in scope, your organisational context and the parties with an interest in it.

2

Assess each clause

Work through the standard in plain language, recording where you stand and why.

3

Close the gaps

Every gap becomes an owned, dated action on the same worklist as the rest of your work.

4

Prove it

Generate the clause-by-clause evidence pack and hand it to your auditor.

The important bit

Readiness is derived, not declared.

Plenty of tools let someone type “85% ready” into a box. That number is worth nothing to an auditor and not much to you.

In Grace, conformance is recorded as dated assessment events — a state, a justification, who assessed it and when. Readiness is computed from the current assessment of each requirement, with items marked not applicable excluded and the full history kept. If somebody changes their mind six months later, both the old and the new position are on the record.

Gaps with no action against them are flagged separately, because an unowned gap is the one that turns up in the audit.

Illustration — not a real workspace.

Four states, not a tick-box

Because “done” and “doesn't apply” aren't the same thing.

Not started

Nothing in place yet. Honest, and countable — you can see how much is genuinely untouched.

In progress

Something exists but wouldn't survive an audit. Usually the biggest bucket, and the useful one.

Conformant

In place, evidenced, with the records to show it. Counts toward readiness.

Not applicable

Excluded with a written justification — which the standard requires, and which an auditor will ask to see.

What this module does not do

It won't make you compliant on its own, and it won't certify you — that decision belongs to your certification body, and anyone promising otherwise is selling something they can't deliver.

It doesn't reproduce the text of the standard. Clauses are paraphrased in plain language with our own mapping; you'll still need your own licensed copy of ISO 9001:2015.

And it doesn't include compliance training courses. If your driver is getting a workforce through training modules rather than getting a management system certified, say so early and we'll tell you honestly whether we're the right fit.

Find out where you actually stand.

Thirty minutes against your own scope. We'll show you what day one looks like and what the path to audit involves.
